Day 1 – Foundational Ayurveda
Introduction to Ayurveda, its history, philosophy and goals
Dosha identification – your unique constitution based on the five elements
Basic understanding of the 20 Gunas – attributes or qualities and their actions within the mind body complex
Basic understanding of the Dhatus – The seven bodily tissues which hold the body together
Learn about and the importance of Agni and Ama – imbalance and how to prevent disease
Day 2 – Dinacharya and Ritucharya – daily and seasonal practices
Adjust your yoga practice to align with the season
Learn simple and easy Ayurvedic daily practices to support physical, mental and emotional health.
